Bolle Tham
Born in Stockholm in 1970. He graduated from the KTH Royal Institute of
Technology School of Architecture, Stockholm in 1997 —
after spending one year in France with work and studies
at the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Belleville in 1994-1995,
and attending the ILAUD, International Laboratory for
Architecture and Urban Design in San Marino, Italy in 1996—.
In 1998-1999 he was a post-graduate student at the Faculty
of Architecture, Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm.
He established Tham & Videgård Arkitekter with Martin Videgård in 1999.
He was a member of the Board of the Stockholm Association
of Architects from 2004 to 2008, and Guest Professor at
Peter Behrens School of Architecture, Düsseldorf, Germany
in the 2014-2015 academic year. He is a member of
the Strategic Advisory Board of the Royal Institute of Technology,
Stockholm, since 2013, and a member of the
Swedish Royal Academy of Fine Arts since 2016.
Martin Videgård
Born in Stockholm in 1968. He graduated from the
KTH Royal Institute of Technology School of Architecture,
Stockholm, in 1997. He studied Art History at Stockholm University
in 1990-1991, and Interior Architecture at the University College of Arts,
Crafts and Design (Konstfack) between 1992 and 1994.
He was granted a scholarship to study at the Universidade
do Porto in 1996. He has worked with several offices including
Wilhelmson Arkitekter (1997–99), Nyrens Arkitekter (1995),
Berg Arkitektkontor (1989–90) and Can Arkitektkontor (1987–88).
He established Tham & Videgård Arkitekter with Bolle Tham in 1999.
He was a member of the Board of the Swedish Association
of Architects between 2010 and 2016, and Guest Professor
at Peter Behrens School of Architecture, Düsseldorf, Germany
in the 2014-2015 academic year. He is a member of the
Swedish Royal Academy of Fine Arts since 2016.
